2:30 AM – Pick-Up from Cusco or Sacred Valley Hotel
Early Morning Pick-Up: The day starts early with a pick-up from your hotel
5:30 AM – Depart for Soraypampa
Journey to Soraypampa: The drive from Cusco to the Soraypampa trailhead takes approximately 3.5 to 4 hours. During the journey, you will pass through scenic Andean landscapes and rural villages.

8:30 AM – Arrival at Humantay Lake and Ceremony to the Lake spirit and The mountain gods.
This is an important part of you mystical mystical tour, where you may participate in an offering which involves giving thanks and asking for blessings from the mountains and nature. It’s a way to honor the sacred land before embarking on a bigger ceremony with master plants.
As you ascend, your guide may invite you to reflect on the energy of the land and the natural world. The hike is not just a physical journey but a spiritual one, where the beauty of the landscape invites personal reflection and connection.
You may also be encouraged to pause during the hike to meditate, take deep
breaths, or even chant as you reach certain points on the trail.
Some tours may include a ritual cleansing at the lake’s edge, where you can wash your hands or face with the cold water as part of a spiritual purification process.
11:00 AM – Free Time to Enjoy this healing area with yourself.
You’ll have some free time to meditate by the lake, practice mindfulness, and take in the stunning scenery and play some ancient instruments your guide will take.
12:00 PM – Descent Back to Soraypampa
Return Hike: After the mystical experience at the lake, begin your descent back to
Soraypampa. The return trek will take about 1 to 1.5 hours.

1:30 PM – Return to Soraypampa and Closing Ceremony
Closing Ceremony: Once you arrive back at Soraypampa, you may take part in a closing ritual to give thanks to the Most powerfull mountain sipirit of the Area “THE SALKANTAY GLACIER” for a safe journey and the experience you’ve had.
This ceremony may include another offering, where you express gratitude for the spiritual gifts received from the land.
2:00 PM – Lunch
Lunch Stop: Many tours offer a traditional Peruvian lunch at a local spot on the way back to Cusco. The meal often includes dishes like quinoa soup, roast chicken, vegetables, and rice.
It’s a great opportunity to relax, bond with other participants, and reflect on the day’s experience.
5:00 PM – Return to Cusco
Journey Back to Cusco: After lunch, the drive back to Cusco takes around 3.5 to 4 hours.
You will arrive in Cusco OR Sacred Valley around 5:00 PM, where you will be
dropped off at your hotel .
What to Bring
Comfortable Hiking Boots: Ensure you have sturdy footwear for the hike. Bring another pair of shoes for the car ride specialy during wet season.
Warm Layers: The weather can be cold, especially in the morning, so dress in layers.
Sun Protection: Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat are essential for protection from the
high-altitude sun.
Water and Snacks: Carry water and any personal snacks to keep you energized.
Journal or Camera: For capturing your personal reflections or the beauty of the journey.
Personal Items for the Ceremony: If you’re participating in an offering or ceremony, bring something symbolic (such as flowers or leaves) to offer and also your personal Illas or Totems ( Sacred Artifacts from your home land ) Optional .
